I nserts are small volume precision-formed tubes that fit into standard auto sampler vials. The inserts may be tapered or flat bottomed. The tapered vials require a removable plastic foot to be used that serves two purposes, it aligns the vial entrally in the vial and it gives a spring pressure that holds the insert securely against the seal.
Micro volume vial inserts, when used in conjunction with autosampler vials, allow for maximum sample recovery and easier sample removal because the conical shape decreases the surface area inside the vial. Micro volume vial inserts can be used with screw tops, crimp top, or snap top vials.
Micro inserts when used with autosampler vials allow for small volume sample analysis. Select from three styles: conical, conical with spring, and flat. Conical bottom inserts allow maximum sample recovery and easier sample removal.
